An Invitation

"Write a memory, message, a promise — to a glacier."

In person in Paris during UNESCO World Day for Glaciers on March 18–19, 2026, or anywhere in the world: your words become part of a living “snowbank”, continuing throughout the UN Decade of Action for Cryospheric Sciences (2025–2034).

Each card a voice, a snowflake, together becoming a snowbank of collective memory for the world's retreating ice.

Optional Prompts

Available for those who would like a starting point. Your own words are always welcome.

❶  What is a glacier to you?

❷  What has a glacier — or water, or winter — given you?

❸  What do you wish for the ice?

All contributions remain yours. This archive belongs to everyone.
